Michael & Ellie

What.A.Day! And what a HUGE privilege to be part of this wedding for Ellie, a kindergarten teacher and, teacher-turned-golf caddie, Michael (read more about that here). It was a day completely filled with true beauty, love and an authenticity we have long appreciated about this family. I seriously teared up at least three times and had to pull it together to continue shooting. Too many beautiful, emotion-filled shots to share, but I think this collection provides a nice overview of a perfect August day… I like to do things chronologically so here it is from the first look to their grand exit.

Making Michael sweat it out!

He had a hard time looking at the camera…just wanted to keep his eyes on his beautiful bride…Can’t blame him…holy hott-ness, Ellie! The location for the wedding was Chambers Bay Golf Course. The course was created out of an old sand and gravel mine and these cement chamber structures remain. They were the perfect backdrop with such cool lines and shadows.Party time faces =)It IS party time!!!This is Ellie’s sweet Gram–she was stunning in her blue dress–these two obviously have a special connection.Okay, I had to include this photo because only seconds earlier the twins were both crying. Thanks to a tip from their big sis, we loudly growled them in our direction, and it worked!Love, love, love this sibling shot. Ellie, I am glad you know what you’re getting yourself into!!Amazing! What a perfect day! The Puget Sound is always stunning…

This was the scene of my first tears. Such a meaningful prayer spoken by Michael’s dad.

More tears with this stellar toast line up…

Might be my favorite couple shot…And then the dancing began. Starting with the younger audience…

And then moving to the more mature crowd…

Check out this DJ–the best DJ I have ever seen! He was so great and totally into in the whole time!

Thank you again, Michael and Ellie, for including us in your truly fantastic day! We loved every minute and can’t wait for you to see the whole collection!

P.S. Also, thanks for having the best wedding cake ever.

P.P.S. Party Time!

John and Erin, these are the best wedding shots by professional photographers that I have ever seen! You caught the SPIRIT of these precious moments. You captured the ESSENCE of what this marriage moment meant to Michael and Ellie. Janeo and I laughed, smiled quietly, giggled, oohed, ahhed, and dropped some tears, as we surfed through these amazing pics.

THANK YOU for sharing your talent and your love in this remarkable collection of beautiful memories. You guys are the best!

Gratefully and lovingly,

Janeo and Bear

Dear Ellie,
Jennifer told me a couple of years ago you were so very happy to have found a wonderful guy. The next time she told me you were married. My first words were “is he good to her and a special guy” which of course she said yes“you were so very happy. She told me he was a teacher/summer caddy when you met him and that Michael’s family loves you”who doesn’t love Ellie.” I agree, you are one special young woman. I was lucky to find this website so I could send my love.

I remember you so clearly, especially when in Jennifer’s class and the bond you and Jennifer developed now for a lifetime. Special times. She keeps me up to date whenever I see her.
So many sincere wishes and blessings to you and Michael in all your years together.
I am so very happy for you,
Love,
Barb
