The Fazals | Families

As a photographer in Oregon you really have to hold all plans loosely and go with the flow when it comes to weather. Our preference is normally to shoot in the beautiful, natural light of the outdoors, but if you have lived in Oregon for any stretch of time you know that the autumn and winter months come with a good deal of rain. This makes scheduling outdoor photo sessions a bit exciting. We have been so fortunate to have clients who are understanding and flexible.

On the morning of this shoot, as sprinkling rain fell on our windshield, we called the Fazal family to see how they felt about starting the photo session at their house. It turned out to be a great, relaxing start to the morning, and provided us a really fun look into the personalities and interests of each family member.  We got a three instrument concert from the kids–violin, guitar, and piano! Of particular interest was Aneela’s art work. She has recently started putting her paintings on Etsy and it was so fun to see her pieces hanging around the house and also to see what is currently in the works. This was a talented and creative bunch!

We were lucky enough to get a brief break in the weather so we took advantage of it and and jetted over to Jenkins Estate to capture some fun moments exploring the park grounds.

Thanks, Fazal family for a fun, rainy Saturday morning!
