SNEAK PEEK: Melinda + Rob + Abraham + Baby Girl

Just one for today, but the rest of the session is coming soon (with pics of the rest of the family, too). And, yes, she actually does look this stunning in real life. Stay tuned for more!

Jannell

Jannell is what I’d consider a Super Senior–no, it didn’t take her 7 years to graduate from college–she has studied Pre-Med at Linfield College, already has a job lined up for next year in an area that will be beneficial to her medical career, she will be applying to medical schools next year, and she still finds time to come home and ride her beautiful horse, Pumpkin. In 15 days she’ll walk across the stage, accept her diploma and have a promising future ahead of her. Pretty great place to be when you’re in your early 20s! We got to spend a gorgeous spring evening at her family’s home commemorating this upcoming milestone with a few photos. You’ll see below that although Pumpkin is a stunning horse, Jannell’s incredible smile and beautiful eyes have nothing on him.

Can’t you just see the opportunity in her eyes! =)

Jannell’s family agreed the photo on the right tells “the whole story”–we concurred!

The L Family

What has two legs, red hair, bright blue eyes, the energy of puppy, and loves to run? This guy!

And who loves this guy more than anyone else in the world? Pretty sure it’d be these two…

We got to spend a very foggy Saturday morning with this great family a few weeks back. I think all of us adults were slightly bummed the sun that had been expected was a bit delayed, but it certainly did not slow things down one bit. From the moment we were introduced, we were zipping around Mt. Tabor Park, checking out the play structure, exploring the flora and fauna, and RUNNING!

We got connected to the L Family through mutual friends, the Doughertys. The two families have gotten to know each other because of their mutual interest in cystic fibrosis (CF). If you would like to learn more about CF or donate to the critical research that is taking place, show some love and go to www.cff.org.

Thanks for a fun Saturday morning, L Family! It was a pleasure to meet you and hang out!

One Kid You’ll Want To Meet

Working on this very fun session today!

Taylor & Beth

You know there aren’t a lot of good love stories coming out of Iraq these days. I listen to NPR often and it’s just not an angle they are covering, but maybe they should consider starting to offer a more balanced perspective of love and war. Right? Taylor and Beth met just prior to shipping out to Iraq–both are trained medical professionals working at a military base hospital in Baghdad. They hung out a couple of times stateside, but the majority of their dating life has happened within the confines of the base they know as home for now. After way too many months on duty, they got to spend a solid month of R & R outside the Desert, bouncing from West to East Coast with a few stops in between. It was a privilege to record a little bit of their time here!

This silhouette shot was worth posting again even if you already saw it once on the sneak peek!

I just love Beth’s genuine laughter in the background in these two… I can’t recall what she’s laughing at, but she has such a beautiful smile when she’s doing it!

Seriously people, this was not staged. She really did bury her hands in her face while Taylor proudly displayed his awesome t-shirt.

Glad you guys made a Newberg stop! Fun hanging out and doing this mini-session with you!
